At Strohschein Law Group, LLC, we look forward to helping you and your family protect what matters. We also understand how important it is for our office to be convenient to you. Our main office is located in St Charles, however we are able to schedule an appointment in your home or another location based on schedule availability.
Scheduling an Appointment
When calling to schedule an appointment, you will speak with one of our Client Service staff members. This call is important for you to discuss your situation and for us to listen to your concerns. If we feel that there is a match between your need and the services that we offer, we will work with you to set a time and a place for your meeting with one of our attorneys.
The charge for the consultation is $500.00 and it is important to know why. “Free” is good, but some things are free for a reason. Our attorneys have over 50 years of combined experience in assisting our clients with estate planning and elder law issues. At Strohschein Law Group, our consultations are designed as an opportunity to specifically sort through your situation and come up with a plan on how to deal with that situation. The initial meeting is not a sales meeting, but rather a productive working meeting that is focused exclusively on your particular concerns. The consultation may even help you to determine that you do not need the assistance of an attorney. However, by investing in a productive consultation, you are investing in knowledgeable, attentive and tailored legal assistance.
Pre-Meeting Follow-up
After scheduling your appointment, you will receive a Welcome Packet which contains information that is tailored to your situation and includes a questionnaire for you to fill out prior to the meeting. This is an important first step so that our time together can be productive in finding a solution that applies to your situation.
Initial Meeting
A typical first meeting in our office lasts between 60-90 minutes depending on the complexity of the issues involved. It is very important that everyone who is involved in the decision-making process is available for the meeting so that decisions can be made and the proper strategy put in place for your family. If anyone cannot attend the meeting in person, please call the office to coordinate a phone conference.
After gathering the facts, the attorney will then talk about some solutions for how to remedy your situation and what steps need to be taken. We will also discuss the costs involved so that you have a clear picture of how to proceed. Every client will be made aware of the value they are receiving in exchange for their investment.
When you choose to retain Strohschein Law Group to assist you in any matter, we will provide you with an engagement letter which describes the details of how we will work together, what we will accomplish, as well as the financial arrangements. Once payment and signed agreement are received, work will begin immediately.
