BEWARE OF COVID VACCINE SCAMS

We are pleased to pass along this important information from our friends at TC Wealth Partners of Downers Grove. Please note that COVID fraud is rapidly evolving and we urge you to be cautious if you receive unsolicited requests for personal, medical, and financial information.

Many of us are still waiting for our first shot of the Covid-19 vaccine. As we bide our time, we wanted you to beware of an email scam about the Covid-19 vaccine. Called a phishing scam, the email claims to be from the National Health Service (NHS) and offers the opportunity to fast-track your way to a vaccine. A link inside the email invites you to click-thru to a convincing, NHS look-alike web page. The phony web site asks for personal information such as your name, address, and phone number, along with your credit card and banking details. Please do not click on the link. Simply delete the email. Do not provide any personal information. If you do, you will only be providing cybercriminals your data. It is a scam, one of many.
